Scienza Health Joins AWS Partner Network to Power National Deployment of GIA®

HIPAA-compliant cloud infrastructure supports real-time Voice AI, Computer Vision, and Speech Biomarker analysis at clinical scale

NEWPORT BEACH, CA

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Scienza Health today announced it has joined the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN), securing the HIPAA-compliant cloud infrastructure required to scale GIA® — the company’s 510(k) registered digital human for clinical screening — across post-acute and long-term care facilities nationwide.

The APN membership provides Scienza with enterprise-grade compute, storage, and machine learning infrastructure purpose-built for healthcare workloads. The digitalhumanOS™ platform processes Voice AI, Computer Vision, and Speech Biomarker analysis in real time during patient screening conversations, requiring low-latency compute at clinical scale while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance.

"GIA® processes over 2,500 speech biomarkers in a single patient conversation," said David Kaiser, Founder & CEO of Scienza Health. "That analysis has to happen in real time, it has to be HIPAA compliant, and it has to work at the scale of thousands of concurrent screening sessions across hundreds of facilities. AWS is the infrastructure partner that makes that possible."

The partnership complements Scienza’s device-layer partnership with Samsung, which provides the Health Grade Galaxy hardware that GIA® runs on in clinical environments. Together, the Samsung hardware layer and AWS infrastructure layer create the full deployment stack: Samsung Knox for device security, AWS for cloud processing and storage, and PointClickCare for EHR connectivity.

Infrastructure for Clinical-Scale Screening

The AWS partnership provides:

  • HIPAA-compliant compute and storage for processing protected health information
  • Low-latency infrastructure for real-time Voice AI and Speech Biomarker analysis during patient conversations
  • Machine learning infrastructure supporting models trained on 12.3 million PAC/LTC patient records
  • Global availability to support Samsung Health Grade Galaxy device deployment internationally

We chose AWS because clinical screening is not a batch process. When GIA® is sitting across from a patient, the analysis happens in real time. The infrastructure has to be as reliable as the screening itself.

David Kaiser, Founder & CEO of Scienza Health

The Deployment Stack

Scienza’s APN membership completes a three-layer deployment architecture:

  • Device layer: Samsung Health Grade Galaxy with Samsung Knox enterprise security
  • Infrastructure layer: AWS HIPAA-compliant compute, storage, and ML services
  • EHR layer: PointClickCare, Epic, Cerner, MatrixCare, Netsmart, and American HealthTech via HL7 FHIR and Direct API
