Scienza Health and Samsung Announce Strategic Partnership to Bring GIA® to Health Grade Galaxy Devices

First partnership to bundle a 510(k) registered clinical screening platform on Samsung’s purpose-built healthcare hardware with Knox enterprise security

NEWPORT BEACH, CA

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Scienza Health and Samsung today announced a strategic partnership to integrate GIA® and the digitalhumanOS™ clinical screening platform with Samsung’s Health Grade Galaxy device ecosystem. The partnership marks the first time a 510(k) registered clinical screening platform has been bundled on purpose-built healthcare hardware with enterprise-grade Knox security.

The integration deploys GIA® across Samsung’s Health Grade Galaxy portfolio — tablets, smartphones, and Samsung DeX — which are engineered for clinical environments with antimicrobial coatings, drop resistance, and battery life optimized for continuous clinical operations. Samsung Knox provides HIPAA-compliant device security including real-time kernel protection, secure boot verification, and encrypted storage for protected health information.

"We evaluated every major device ecosystem for clinical deployment," said David Kaiser, Founder & CEO of Scienza Health. "Samsung was the only partner that offered purpose-built healthcare hardware, enterprise security through Knox, and the B2B healthcare channel relationships to reach post-acute and long-term care facilities at scale. This is not a software licensing deal. This is a bundled clinical screening station."

The partnership model is turnkey: facilities receive Samsung Health Grade Galaxy hardware with digitalhumanOS™ pre-configured, Samsung Knox security active, and GIA® ready to screen on first power-up. The deployment target is under 30 minutes from unboxing to first patient screening.

Samsung Knox’s zero-trust security architecture is significant for post-acute care environments, where devices frequently move between rooms, floors, and buildings. Knox Manage provides centralized device policy enforcement, automated security patching, and real-time threat monitoring across the entire facility device fleet.

Purpose-Built for Clinical Environments

The Samsung-Scienza partnership delivers a turnkey clinical screening deployment:

  • Samsung Health Grade Galaxy hardware engineered for clinical use — antimicrobial, ruggedized, extended battery
  • Samsung Knox enterprise security with HIPAA compliance, secure boot, and encrypted PHI storage
  • Pre-configured digitalhumanOS™ — GIA® ready to screen on first power-up
  • Samsung DeX workstation capability for nursing station deployment without additional hardware
  • Knox Manage for centralized device policy, security patching, and fleet monitoring

Post-acute care facilities do not have IT departments. They need a device that works out of the box, stays secure without intervention, and never becomes the reason a screening does not happen. That is exactly what Samsung’s Health Grade Galaxy with Knox delivers.

David Kaiser, Founder & CEO of Scienza Health

Partnership Scope
